Web Game of the Week - Bloxorz

Every week we will present you the most funny and addictive web-based games. This week this is Bloxorz . Often we scour the Web to find engaging and compelling online Flash games to feature here, and you can also send your games to be published here by leaving links in comments or sending them to est.eugene@gmail.com .  Bloxorz is a simple idea for a puzzle game that is beautifully executed. The objective is to tumble a rectangular block through each stage and deposit it into the square hole at the end. Using a series of bridge-opening switches, teleporters, and block-splitting switches, solve the puzzle each stage presents to move on to the next of the game's 33 levels. Use the arrow keys for control to tumble the block around the play field, but don't let it fall off the edges. Frost Bite online game

Frost Bite is a colorful new platforming adventure game from Nitrome, the talented creators of Scribble , Hot Air and many others . So, your goals is to climb to the top of each stage, fending off monsters and collecting bonus items along the way. The most exiting part is that you get a grappling gun you can use to latch onto platforms and swing yourself upwards. The gun doubles as a harpoon to attack enemies and gather items, making its use a central element in the game. A colorful and great looking game, exactly what we've come to expect from Nitrome . While it's easy enough to pick up and play, Frost Bite's control scheme feels a little awkward at times. When walking, your character always faces the cursor, so half the time you're facing backwards. It doesn't affect the gameplay, it just feels strange.
