The premise belongs to an adventure's simplified colonial frame. It should not be confused with a balanced history of European expansion or Indigenous societies. Big Fish now advertises a refreshed version with updated visuals and widescreen support, described as a free upgrade for existing owners. Check your library before buying again for those changes. Steam's listing should not be assumed to describe the identical refreshed build. Begin with Book One if the continuing story interests you; the next games follow Diego's expedition rather than offering unrelated starting points.
